What Is An Energy Storage System?
The Energy Storage System (ESS) uses multiple source of power to supply the loads of the home. Solar PV which is the renewable component of the system will directly supply the home appliances as well as recharge the battery. The Lithium battery is used to supply the home with power during an outage or during night-time. The grid is used as a last resort in days of cloudy weather or during times of higher power draw from the home. The energy flow is intelligently managed by the ESS to provide the most economical source of energy thereby incurring savings on the energy bill and provide continuity of power to the home.
